Bluestreak is finally here! It took him almost a month and the box he shipped in really did look like it had been sat on, but he was safe and sound inside and is happy to be out. No one else is. In fact, after only a day Thundercracker tried to bribe me to put him back in his package. He tried to bribe me with one of my own dinky cars. Needless to say I wasn't falling for it.
On a side note, it is so odd how Classics Prowl has such a stern expression, but Bluesy, who is the exact same mold in every detail, looks so sweet and adorable. I'm a little sad his head doesn't tilt up and down or side to side ... so far of all the toys I have only Red's and Mirage's heads have full posability. It seems a rare commodity. But I luffs him anyway
Bluestreak belongs to me. I suppose Hasbro owns something about this but if they want they have to fight me to the death for it. By "death" I mean "abject humiliation" and by "me" I mean "squirrel monkeys".
Aww, Bluestreak, why are you always so adorable? Anyway, you must be happy about this new edition -- I know I was when I got mine. I firmly believe that a Bluestreak is a must have in any collection. He is a darling fellow and fits in nicely with, well, most of the crowd. Some 'Cons and Alternate 'Verse 'Bots aren't willing to accept his quirks, but those that do don't usually regret it.

I always love when a box comes to the door like that. It amuses me, especially when it say "FRAGILE" on it.
after only a day Thundercracker tried to bribe me to put him back in his package. Thundercracker will eventually learn to care for his talkative, ground-bound, roommate. They all deny this notion, but it's those that are usually the first to fall victim to it.

It's an amazing thing. When the concept figure rears it's head mold and roams the web, we all tend to be skeptical; fearful that the expression will not "Fit the Bill" so to speak, lol. ...Then, Lo and behold!, we have them in-hand and we see marvels such as this. The "Robot Heroes" Seekers were all the same, but that smile on their face easily translated to something different when it was done up as the Elite Trio.
I'm a little sad his head doesn't tilt up and down or side to side
While it doesn't destroy me internally, it does nag and many a time I've had to talk myself outta modding my dear Blue. I always figured popping his head off the pin and fitting both it and the hood socket for a ball joint would work, but ya know, the last thing I wanna do it hurt'im. >>;
He is my first Bluestreak, but definitely the most attractive one out there in my opinion. It takes me a little while to get used to each toy, to let their personality sink in with how they look and the sculpt of their face. This one is a very mature Bluestreak, I think. Adorable and sweet, but certainly not helpless or silly. It's going to be fun to have him around.
What I wasn't expecting about Thundercracker was for him to be such a loudmouthed jerk. I always pictured him the stoic thug to Skywarp's brazen idiot, but he makes Thrust look practically angelic! I'm only glad he's not very motivated to cause trouble.
If you do find a good way to modify Blue's head, please do share! It's difficult to get him to emote the way I think he should be able to with his head frozen in place like that.
Least the cute little fraggers happy
