Hey Internet! This weekend I had an adventure involving a piercing studio and some particularly tender flesh! Owwwwfucking ow hilarious pain, amirite? So worth it. :thumbsup: :D

It actually didn't hurt nearly as much as I thought it would, and I was pretty damn proud of myself for not making a sound or flailing in panic. Of course, Red Alert's approval rating for this whole debacle was negative-eleven from the start, but as much as he hates when I don't listen to his shrill little voice in my ear, nothing makes him happier than I-told-you-so's so it all worked out in the end. ;)

(On a completely random note, I just realized that I consistently draw myself in mirror image. Huh.)


Transformers belong to HasTak.
Red appears to have become my sole voice of reason, so I guess that means I no longer have one of my own... This explains so very much.

Not any more than the ones in my ears do, lol. Besides, once it's healed I can just take it out if I need to.

As far as airport detectors go... I've walked through them with a big, old fashioned metal skeleton key in my back pocket that I forgot was there, and it failed to set off alarms in three different airports. (It also somehow went undetected in two separate pat-downs.) I just... dunno man. Airports are weird. :shrug:

I hope Red eventually caved and got you the pain killers, or did you cave and see the Ratchet Clan(they only have little wrenches ;p )?

I'm usually okay with needles, but even I had to look away during this one. You can add things to your bucket list AFTER you do them, right? 'Cuz this really ought to have been on mine :XD:

It's nuts, isn't it? Not something I'd ever have thought I'd do. But once the idea got in my head I just kept getting more excited about it, so I figured, why not? Push my boundaries a little and all that. My extra commission money gives me leeway to do crazy things like this ;)

I keep looking down my shirt and snickering. It's like a dirty little secret, lol. That I promptly told the whole internet about :XD:
