Sick

On our third day of excavation in Jordan, I came down with the 24-hour stomach bug from hell. I quite literally had to jump out of the hole and throw up behind a rock pile, and then spent the next day or so shivering and passing out while my body cheerfully purged itself of everything and anything I'd ever consumed in the last ten years of my life.

It was so much fun.

I drew this in between bouts of clenching abdominal pain. I haven't been so sick since I was a kid. Someone big and safe to cuddle right then would have been worth the world.
