I've been MIA and in a funk since getting back from Jordan, and not keepin' ya'll in the loop. There is a metric ton of sketches both from before and during my trip that I hadn't gotten around to dealing with for quite some time. This is from last June at the lake.

My uncle dropped my little cousin and I off to explore an island while he fished. I'm an adult now, so I guess this can be done. Anyway, we'd been having boat trouble so when my uncle didn't show up late into the afternoon and we'd exhausted everything there was to do on the island, my cousin and I chilled on some rocks and a little garter snake came by. I entertained us by managing to coax him onto my lap where he sunned himself.

Eventually, my cousin asked what we'd do if my uncle didn't make it back to the island to pick us up my nightfall. I told him, straightfaced, "We eat the snake."
