I'm in love with these two. Even when I can't draw them properly.
I was having serious body-proportion issues that day ... Mertil's head is HUGE, and his deer-body is way too small (I got a plastic centaur toy for Christmas that to my surprise, had PERFECT body proportions ... I even measured it. But do I use it for reference? Pfft, no). Lily's body is scrunched in a funny way too, but there's nothing nothing I can't fix with Photoshop and a little TLC.
It's an accident that she looks like she's kinda falling off him there. I think it's actually more cute that way ... looks like she just climbed on and fell asleep. AND LOOK AT MERTIL'S SEVEN-FINGERED HANDS! Aren't they fabulous? Do you KNOW how hard it is to draw seven fingers? DO YOU?!
Mertil belongs to K.A. Applegate & co., who didn't pay nearly enough attention to him.

When I first saw this, I thought, <OMG! That is SO me and Aximilli!> Th-.... (Sorry, had to flick away a stinkbug! X3 ) Anyway, then I read the description...and mah dreams were shattered. XD
